And the shrimps were also good.
The prices were reasonable, offering exceptional value.

What a great food, the freshest oysters just out of the sea from in front of you. The waiters are really kind and patient and the wine is delicious. Sitting with your feet in the sand eating oysters in the sun is an amazing experience that you must have!

Great place with fantastic sea view to try different oysters from Cap Ferret, Arcachon and Atlantic ocean, and some more sea food. They offer wine which tastes perfect to the ordered food. And service in very nice! The shrimps are big and to tasty to not compare them with the other you may eat after this experience. So, highly recommended to visit!

Whilst wandering around le Cap Ferret we stumbled upon this rather hidden gem. Whilst being off-season both ladies were very welcoming and friendly. These were, without doubt, the tastiest oysters and whelks of our holidays (the whelks were served with a paprika? chili? piment d’Espelette? rub). The view is quite delightful. Would highly recommend especially the wild oysters from l’ile aux oiseaux.

A perfect way to spend a brisk and sunny day on the beach. We enjoyed a dozen oysters and a glass of wine overlooking the bay and oyster farms in the distance. Each member of staff was deeply friendly and kind, educating us on the oysters - where they were from, how they were grown and caught, and the differences in tastes between different regions - answering any questions we had, and being perfectly hospitable. The oysters themselves were delicious, with such obvious distinctions in taste between the 3 different parks they were collected.
The restaurant has a lovely patio, as well as chairs sat in the white sand of the beach, which is where we enjoyed our meal. We will look back on this experience as one that made our brief time in Cap Ferret so magical, and for that, they have our sincerest thanks.- Type de repas

Best place for oysters. Ever.

Excellent ! A very nice little spot facing the Membo, the small piece of land in front of Cap Ferret. Enjoy some homemade oysters, a glass or a bottle of wine, shrimps, whelks or some french pâté while taking a great pleasure of the Bassin's colours. Less expensive than others Cap Ferret "dégustations", very friendly waiters, overall a great and lovely little place.

I don't quite understand why people eat oysters, but if you want to eat them, this is a great place for it.
